Connect Chabad Suite to AI

Chabad Suite can connect to AI services, allowing you to use AI to ask questions about the information in your Chabad Suite account.

You control what information is available to the AI service through the Data Exposure Settings.

Enable the AI Connection

  1. Log in to your Chabad Suite account.
  2. Go to Administration → Connected Apps.
  3. Review and accept the terms.
  4. Click Enable.

Once enabled, you will see the Data Exposure Settings.

Choose What Data to Share

The Data Exposure Settings determine which information from your Chabad Suite account can be accessed through the AI connection.

Personal contact information is disabled by default. You can choose to enable specific types of information, such as:

  • Email addresses
  • Street addresses
  • Phone numbers

Your custom CRM fields are also available in the settings, allowing you to choose which custom information can be accessed.

For example, if you want to ask an AI service which contacts live in a particular area, you would need to allow access to street addresses.

Select the information you want to make available and save your settings.

Get Your Connection URL

Once your data exposure settings are configured:

  1. Click Set Up AI Connection.
  2. Click Start.
  3. Copy the Connection URL provided by Chabad Suite.

This URL is what you will use to connect Chabad Suite to your AI service.

Connect to an AI Service

The exact steps for adding the connection will depend on the AI service you are using.

Example: Connecting to ChatGPT

The video demonstrates the connection using ChatGPT.

In ChatGPT:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Enable Developer mode under Security and Login, if necessary.
  3. Go to Plugins and click + to add a connection.
  4. Paste the Connection URL from Chabad Suite.
  5. Agree to the required terms.
  6. Enter a name for the connection.
  7. Click Create.

ChatGPT will then prompt you to sign in and connect your Chabad Suite account.

When prompted, copy the connection code provided by Chabad Suite and enter it in ChatGPT to complete the connection.

Using AI with Your Chabad Suite Data

Once the connection is complete, you can ask the AI service questions about the data that you have made available.

For example, you could ask:

Who were my top donors in 2026?

You can also ask follow-up questions and explore your data using natural-language questions.

The information available to the AI is limited to the data you enabled in your Data Exposure Settings.

Other AI Services

Chabad Suite's AI connection is not limited to ChatGPT. The connection can also be used with other AI services that support this type of connection, such as Claude.
